You may need a CCTV survey for a number of reasons. Whether you’re buying a new house and want to know the condition of the drainage at the property, or you have a reoccurring problem which needs further investigation, we can help you.
Our drain engineers will use a CCTV camera to determine the condition of the drainage/sewers. We will supply you with a recording, images and a full written report after carrying out the CCTV survey.
The high-pressure water jetting systems that are installed on every one of our vans are the latest technology and guarantee the best results every time.
These machines are built to cope with every manner of blocked drains, from heavy fat and food blockages, to tree roots penetrating the pipes.
We can also de-scale your sewers on a regular maintenance schedule to minimise the risk of blockages all without risking damage to the pipes themselves.
Excavating / Digging
Digging up the ground or excavating is usually the last resort when trying to solve a problem. However, sometimes this is the only way to repair the drain and solve the problem. If a drain has collapsed, then excavating is usually the only option unless diverting the drain would be easier and more cost effective.
When carrying out this type of work, we use CCTV equipment to pin point the exact location of the problem. This way, we can ensure that the excavation is being carried out in the correct place, with the depth being known before putting a spade into the ground.
No dig technology
More and more technology is becoming available on the market, thus allowing drains to be repaired without having to dig up and disturb the ground. Drain relining is the most common type of no dig technology.
Drain relining consists of impregnating a sock like material with resin and using air inversion to insert it into the drain. These resins react together eventually hardening and sealing the drain.
This process covers holes, cracks, and fractures within the pipe, as well as open displaced joints and root intrusion. By repairing it this way, the drain will be sealed and its structural integrity will be improved.
